Farce

While I find no fault with the principles outlined in Anthony B. Kim's article (Heritage.org, G-8 Can Stimulate Economic Recovery by Restoring Freedom, July 6, 2009), I did find it hysterically funny to presume (or that "assume"?) that the G-8 can do anything other than go on fancy trips at taxpayer expense, and pose for endless pictures to give the folks back home the idea that they're doing something.

G-8 summits, and the like, are like show trials: Nothing good can ever come of them.
